Well here we are in Rome and a chance to update. Back in Ottawa on Wed Nancy and I toured around in the Gatineau Park across the Ottawa River,this is where Meech Lake is located.It is a huge park and we were told in a few weeks the leaves would be changing color, then it is spectacular!We stopped and had lunch and a pint at a pub on then edge of the park,then started back to Ottawa.We also did some driving around Ottawa,then back to our nefew's house.
Thursday we returned the car and caught a flight to Montreal,no problem.The flight from Montreal to Rome was great,that's right business class pod seats Again.
The brakes were on and the confussion and frustration started when we walked into the customs hall.This was the first time not knowing the language was a problem.I had a hard time getting help for directions and information,but 3 hours later,after 1 train & 2 subways& a walk throught the streets,we found our hotel.We had a nap then walked around for a few hours.
