It is now Sept 11 2 am and I am wide awake here in Cusco Peru.We immediately felt the effects of altitude sickness,dull headache ,labored breath,slow thought process, so we got some drugs and turnned in very early,feel fine now.
The pictures posted below cover from Toronto to Cusco peru.We got up and had included breakfast at the Ramada Lima Airport,then walked over to the terminal to buy tickets to fly to Cusco on Lan Peru,not cheap.
The flight departed on time and we had switched to emergency exit seats on the airbus 319, great legroom for tall guys.The service was all complimentary,beer was good,and the flight attendants dressed very smart.
Arrived in Cusco ahead of sched,11000 feet here 22celcius.We took up the services of Elvera a woman working a booth at the arrives area,she was recommended by a canadian couple at Lima Airport.
Elvera set us up with a Hotel,sight seeing,Machupicchu,and transfers all at a good price I think.
